Information From The Developer Even with the coming of the new animation techniques that can be done with out Adobe® Flash® I still am just in love with how your imagination is literally the limit when it comes too Flash®. Yes it has some major issues for web deployment but the fact is Flash® IS A STANDARD. You may not agree, or you may hate Flash® it really does not matter almost all of the top used websites of this time period has some Flash® or lots of Flash®. Any way, this is a brief description of how I put it all together. First, I got the designs from my designer Robyn Lee. I origonally created the first version of the remake with my own designs, but after some time in the field I noticed I really did not have what it took to properly display artistic things. The origonal theme was white bamboo, but as the designs progressed it evolved into bones and steal. Second, I began putting together the Flash® components. This took quite some time and a lot of countless hours tricking things too work. Now when I say tricking, of COURSE I mean best practises. ;) Third, I used HTML, CSS and Javascript too layout the actual HTML template. Fourth, I began setting up the mySQL database that the site runs on. Fifth, I wired up the coldfusion public section Sixth, I constructed the coldfusion admin section. Seventh, I integrated a PHP forum and a Java chatroom. Eighth, I spent long tedious hours putting the website on the server. So, what were all the tools used in every aspect of this site? Believe it or not every thing was built on Mac's. Intel of course. ;) Tools Used: Adobe® Flash CS3®(Actionscript 2.0), SEPY Actionscript Editor, Adobe® Photoshop CS3®, Adobe® Illustrator CS3®, Adobe® Fireworks CS3®, Adobe® After Effects CS3®, Adobe® Coldfusion 8®, mySQL, Final Cut Pro®, Garageband®, Tobbaco and Anxiety. How long did it take me? Probably over 400 hours." - Adom Patchett POST A BUG...OR MAYBE LOTS OF BUGS
